One of my favorites is coming back today. Last Comic Standing, the only unfortunate part of the show is that it doesn’t showcase all the talent out there. Its really about the Judges picking their friends…but a dudes gotta get his laugh-on.

Don Herbert, who explained the wonderful world of science to millions of young baby boomers on television in the 1950s and ’60s as “Mr. Wizard” and did the same for another generation of youngsters on the Nickelodeon cable TV channel in the 1980s, died Tuesday. He was 89.
I remember watching the show before I went to work. Trying out the cool tricks like putting a piece of tape on a balloon, then sticking a needle through it.
Or him proving to us what a calorie actually is, and learning all about flash paper….Mr Wizard, we will miss you.
